What will Meghan Markle wear to Pippa Middleton's wedding this weekend?

Meghan Markle has reportedly arrived in London ahead of her appearence at Pippa Middleton's wedding to James Matthews on Saturday. Her invite to the society wedding of the year is the latest sign of her growing closeness to Prince Harry- and the Middleton-Cambridge clan.

Her attendance at the ceremony, due to take place at St Mark's church in Englefield, Berkshire, will also add a new sartorial element to the day besides the sleek Middleton triumvirate of Pippa, Carole and Kate.

As a relatively little-known style entity, Markle's choice of lookwill be a key moment in her gradual transition from philanthropic, social-media star to de facto member of the royal family.

Markle's presence in early May at the Audi Polo Challenge was another of those moments. She was in England to watch Harry and Prince William play polo at Caworth Park where they were fundraising for various charities with which they are asssociated, including Sentebale, Wellchild, The Tusk Trust and the Royal Marsden. She stood beside Harry's 'second father' Mark Dyer opting for a navy blue, double-breasted, asymetric- hemmed dress by London-based designer Antonio Berardi.

"Meghan looked simply flawless," Berardi tells The Telegraph of his first reaction to seeing the Suits star in the design from his Resort 2017 collection. "Her outfit choice for the Polo was deftly chic and most importantly, event appropriate," he adds.

Ah-ha, 'event appropriate' is that all-important tick-box, particularly when it comes to dressing for the British summer season whether your event is Ascot, Wimbledon or a high-society wedding. So what strategy might Markle take in deciding how to choose her look for Pippa Middleton's big day?
